Photographer Research Project
Jimmy Nelson is an amazing photographer who is still alive to this day. He has traveled all around the world living with and taking photos of some of the most amazing indigenous tribes. All he uses a vintage 4x5 plate camera and natural lighting to do this. He does not work for any company. He does not have any early influences but when he was a 18 he was trekking tibet with his camera and i believe that is what inspired him. To find one interesting story would be an understatement since his entire life is one large epic journey.
I enjoy his work because he really thinks outside the box and takes amazing photos. Not many photographers would do what he does. I choose his work because it stood out to me and the way he makes his colors stand out is incredible.
